One day very soon it will be a post-COVID world, and in the spirit of returning to in dining experiences comfortably again, ASI shares a dialogue with our Materialista® and Melanie Goettsch, Key Accounts Manager at Minnesota Millwork & Fixtures, who offers a unique perspective on how materials translate the brand in two casual restaurant chains that rely on them to incorporate innovative finish applications that have been designed to enhance the guest experience.
Both Outback Steakhouse and Olive Garden restaurants were closed during the height of the pandemic, yet they pivoted to add curbside pickup options and delivery takeout to stay connected with their patrons.
Customers will be welcomed back with Aussie hospitality at Outback Steakhouse with an impactful host stand in a custom metallic crocodile pattern from the Pacha collection, part of The Venue Series which is also installed as the focal wall in the bar area and encompasses the ceiling soffit as an integral design element coordinating with the other materials in the space.
The Olive Garden specializes in Italian American cuisine, and the new brand concept includes linear and dimensional textured customized wood panels from our Interwoven Eco-Panels which is seen on the host stand where the first impression is made and carried throughout in arched booths that create an intimate and familial feel that makes you want to spend time relaxing and sharing food with friends and family.
